Overseas Filipino Workers, otherwise called as OFWs can now pay their contributions, loan payment as well as other premiums in Hong Kong. The reason is because amortizations are now being allowed through IREMIT offices in Hong Kong. If you are asking where the authorized outlets are or branches of iRemit, please see the list below. In the meantime, payment deadlines for OFWs may now be paid which covers from January to December of the current year and this can be done anytime and anyday provided that outlets accepting payments are of course, open for business. On the other hand, you can also pay your contributions for October, November, December of the previous year during the month of January.
“If you pay in the Philippines, show proof that you are OFW (copy of OEC, job contract, working visa, etc.) Late payments are no longer being entertained and allowed these days so you have to make sure to pay on time or before your due date. Local employees, self-employed and voluntary members of the SSS on the other hand have monthly/quarterly payment deadlines.
